 LODLAB The smoothing of depth measurements

For RIKZ the program LODLAB has been developed for the smoothing of depth measurements. Depth meaurements are noisy. These noise are caused by the echo sounder and also nautic circumstances play an important part.

Until now disturbances in the depth measurements are corrected 'by hand' and 'by eye'. An intensive employment. In LODLAB a 'penalized least squares'-method (P.
